Force Retreat?

  • Have you ever accidently had your ranged units get blended into an army with "melee" units? Then it gets attacked by another enemy melee army and dies fast because it has lower HP than the melee units! I feel like there should be an option called force retreat where a unit can withdraw from a battle (as long as it's in an army and not by itself) for a hefty morale penalty. I know this might make ranged units even more annoying to deal with but adding an morale penalty makes it so that a player has to really decide whether to do it or not. This is only a suggestion, and I would like to hear your critiques.

  • I really like the idea, i have lost many artillery that way. I would even propose a retreat mechanic where you can decide to disengage combat by choosing a reargard. This one would fight until death, giving enought time to the remnants of the arrmy to retreat and fight another day.

  • Yeah, Ai just sends armies taht outnumber u to your arty and kill them

    I feel bad about it

    also, if u dont have a unit with teh Arty,it is more likely to get destroyed by the land forces

    Get going with strategy at first of the game, always be prepared, and win the game with an amount of skills and take the trophy up with your allies or yourself!:D:) It is just a game:!:
