In Operation Shamrock I am not getting points when conquering provinces. Do you know what this could be and how to fix it?

If the map you're playing was created by you or another player and isn't a system generated one, that's why. Otherwise I suggest writing to support in game in settings/more and maybe they might know more for your case

there's a visual error at the moment where it's displaying that the operations are working in privately created games, but they don't, they only work in system generated games

because one of the operations does include player created games and the other doesn't

I think so, as long as it's a ranked game. So make sure anti-cheat isn't disabled and I think you need at least 6 players in the game for it to be ranked
