    It is the total amount of units the player has that you are aware of or that had been revealed to you. So a neighboring player could be said to have 25 units. In reality the player could have 100. It is only 25 units out for the 100 that are either visible to you, revealed to you, or revealed by a spy

    A unit is one single individual item. A troop, one artillery, one car, one calvary, one railroad gun, one fighter etc.. each is a unit but all 5 together are 5 units.

    yeah it sucks. I will tho fly the fighter over an area I want to see, like a fortress full of troops and units. I set the fighter to patrol an empty area past my target scouting area if at war with them.


    Anytime I have tried to send a fighter to patrol over enemy fortress for a brief millisecond to see what's in I I always would forget about it and not remember until the fighter is damaged or gone lol. So that's y I do it differently now.

    What about having more than 2/3 active wars at once I was told that before and definitely seems to be true.


    I had wondered before whether it was better for popularity to attack players or declare then attack. Looks like that question may be answered.


    As for the other guy asking how others had way better popularity and how to keep ai from attacking you.


    You can make relationships with all AI at game start. I give right of way, shared maps, and shared intel. The ones closest to me I give shared intel. After a war I'll go thru and up some of the relationships from ROW or shared, to shared intel.


    As players go inactive I give relationship to them (I start with row if closer or newly inactive then eventually shared dep on their distance from me and threat to me.) I also give relationship to players with only a prov or 2 left. I also give row to far away players that aren't a threat (with this just make sure to revoke of they come ur way. Then I try to keep my active wars as low as possible if possible with out affecting my gameplay. If you do this game day 1 before day change, u get a bunch of countries who give you row. Once u have row it'll stay with the country even if ur popularity is reduced to 50 percent or so with them. As mentioned if you have row with ai for a little while they will up it to shared if your popularity doesn't plummet.


    Also AI tend to have relationships with other ai so doing this helps u to meet the friends with friends portion too.



    By doing this I never have AI attack me in most maps. The Shattered America one tho AI will nearly always attack at some point but doing as I said will postpone this until end game.


    It's not mentioned but having multiple of wars that you started and various all at one time before others end will sk k popularity quickly and get ai to attack u.


    I always do this bc I can use the ROW and shared with the ai to make the ai a border of protection for my country and/or war bait an enemy attack on my troops in the ai land can cause the ai to attack the enemy player and overwhelm them with more troops. I use it for migrating as a way to easily get grounded elsewhere(other continents) where I want to expand or have a target I want to hit without facing the chance of being attacked on disembarkment. I use it to claim ai land and capital and save for later by placing troops on the ai cap or other prov bordering other player so they would have to start war with me to take the ai land which deters other players from attacking it, I use the row and shared with the ai to gain entry into a neighboring players less guarded provinces for a sneak/surprise attacks as they don't suspect I have the row. And obv if u get shared u can use the fortresses and attack other prov from the ai land when it makes sense to and benefits you to do so.

    You have to close the game completely and reopen it. This happens to me alot. I'm on mobile. A similar issue is that troops won't move when you tell them to they just say idle or ranged units won't attack and just stay idle etc. When anything like this happens I fully exit the game then reopen it and it's fixed.


    I've also have had to move the rr gun short distances at a time before too bc of this like a prov at a time when it would let me move it within the prov it was in but refuse to let me move it a few prov away that have rr.


    Also make sure ur rr is fully finished bc that can be a reason too where it was sabotaged, got hit, or damaged. Also if ur coal runs red ur railroads can bc randomly damaged also.


    But I know what your are talking about. You could also clear your cache for Supremacy 1914 in your apps settings for the game and close all other windows.


    500 games have alot of info and are huge maps and you'll exp more glitches bc of it. I have a game boost mode on my phone I use with this game that helps alot with preventing these types of issues. The mode basically focuses all it's memory, energy, and data on keeping the game running smoothly. The game becomes the priority.

    I started and was a late arriver. A coaltion had been made already of all lvl 17 players including Morrocco, Germany, Italy, Austria, and Ottoman. Guess where I got? Lol Russia that's right. I tried to ally the remaining players all of which were newer lvl 4 -7, I made a coaltion and invited them. France and Sweden joined me but the other 2 players made their own coaltion lmao.


    Well France was attacked game start by the time he joined he had only 30 troops left which were killed shortly after. Sweden decided to build cars and wait and attack Denmark when we clearly should have been eating together to take down or defend against the 5 player coaltion.


    Well since Germany had all his troops in France I attacked Germany while building a fortress on the path Austria would take if he would attack me back. I killed Germanys defense stack, take his capital, and a few other provinces. I hoped to save France but it was too late.


    France was already a goner, he had only an island left at this point.


    Athough, due to my attack, Germany didn't leave any troops behind to prevent the provinces he took from France from revolting and Germany no longer had a capital. After day change all of France's lost provinces had revolted from Germany back to France. Every single one. Im level 18 and this was the first time I had seen this happen. Even so France remained inactive.


    Austria attacked my stack on a fortress loses nearly his whole army. I finish off Germany but see 100 troops of Italy making it's way towards my direction so I begin to pull my stack back some to a fortress I made earlier as a jic retreat point for this reason.


    Italy decides to stay out of the battle and returns home.


    The rest of Austrias troops, his capital, and most of his land I took out at night while he was sleeping/ I assume as he wasnt as active. He didn't make any moves for a few hours.


    I message Italy tell him we can rework the coaltion and work together for an easy win.


    sure enough hes down. Im in first solo with 500 points shortly after and then after cooldown i join the coaltion I destroyed.


    In another game I joined the available coaltion instantly. I took like 3 prov fell asleep came back and we won.


    Every swift strike game will have inactive players I have found. Ppl get countries hey dont like or are trying to join with someone else who didnt make it into the map so they dip and archive.


    Its a 10 player map, anything can happen, relationships arent as strong between players so any coaltion made isnt always set in stone. Ppl want to win. Chances are a player will become inactive in their coaltion and ull get to join anyhow.




    Sweden at this point is being taken over by ai but I hadn't caught it soon enough to prevent it.


    Basically I took out the 2 players alone.

    Please for the love of God do not do the night time mode penalty lol.


    Being very active, is one of the few things that players can do to gain strength when facing against excessive gmers.


    Also, how would you even determine night time. Nighttime for whom? If its a mode that the nighttime hours is established for the map, how can that even be done fairly. We all play from different countries and time zones. Even so, my nighttime differs greatly from others.


    Nighttime is the one times I can play and my maintime to play as I have kids. My hours are all over for sleep and playing. My boyfriend works on 3rd shift over the weekend and yet I get my kids on the bus as 6 am. My sleep schedule is hectic as I am having to be there for my kids who are on one schedule and my man who is on another. That being said let's of ppl work all diff shifts. Their night is their work day.


    If you're talking about just a mode that the player determines the times of or gets so much time to utilize a game day that could be easily used by players for other purposes.


    They could engage the mode strategically as a tool when attacking others or when they are about to be attacked.


    This is a game of strategy. Most of being strategic requires the player to plan and prep ahead. Active players are playing constantly and utilizing there time to ensure success in the game and to be aware of potential threats. You wouldn't give 2 employees the same pay (due to fairness) when one employee works more hours than the other bc he prioritizes devoting his extra/free time to working a few more hours a week.


    A player should plan ahead. They can make relationships , turn on notifications, build fortresses, or secure their border by placing units and troops strategically allowing them time to sleep or take breaks from the game.


    In real war, the enemy can attack at any time and if anything, attacking while the enemy is sleeping would be of great advantage. They would be rewarded with success, not penalized.


    One of my strengths is that I am unpredictable. I play all different hours as my schedule changes constantly.


    Also how would this "nighttime mode" be implemented into the speed rounds?


    I would suggest that players who can't be active stick to slower games like the 1x.


    We all have personal lives outside the game. We have families, jobs, and other responsibilities.


    Implementing a night time mode with a penalty, if anything, would make the game unfair for many players. The players who are very active by choice, sacrifice sleep, and personal time, shouldn't be penalized for putting in more of their time into.the game than others. Also, it would be unfair for those of js that have irregular schedules, swing shift jobs, or are from a timezone that is less common among the majority of Supremacy 1914 players.


    If Player A is up and active while another Player B is inactive, working, or sleeping it is then likely that Player B will have active time while the player, Player A, has their inactive time.


    On top of all this, alot of this game involves playing attention to everything, every movement, every detail, as well as analyzing the map and other players. I personally have figured out an enemies usual sleep hours and inactive time and used this to help my game play esp if being teamed up on or facing a large spender.


    Any player could easily add their teammate to discord and have them ring them or tag them if they are about to be attacked. Many do this already.

    I am a recruit with SOWAR currently in trials. I was given information on discord from the Academy about the Duckiest Chatters Arms Race. I followed the instructions and replied with my username to join but was never added. I previously was Moon_Child but finally got my Game Username permanently changed to Lady_Death! I have replied to thread as Moon_Child and never got added and realized that it could be because of the name change. My replies were disabled, and I am now ranked as "Private" on that one.


    I then registered on here with my new and final username Lady_Death! as I realized that I had to do an account login with my Supremacy 1914 profile during my initial registrationas Moon_Child. I attempted to reply to the thread so I could sign-up for the game. 5 new players have been added that replied after my initial sign-up attempt. Please enable my ability to reply and be seen by others so I can participate in the game. It is filling up fast;(. Thank you!
