    Hello all,

I know when you first play the supremacy game, you need to register for an account, which you have to create a password and a username. I'm not sure if there is any rule for creating a username. But from what I saw in the game, there is none. Recently, I saw a player named (account) "Adolf Erwin" when he first showed up in global chat. And I have also seen some players name themselves by using some sensitive words. If there's none rule for creating usernames, my question is do we need one? It would be a filter if we have the rules. Detect the sensitive words. When the player wants to use that word, a sentence showed up on the screen beside their names, saying something like "please change the username due to sensitive words..." (Something like this) That would be better.

The second thing I want to talk about is the chatting rules (both global chat and help chat). Currently, we don't have anything like a bulletin board full of rules. My suggestion is to make a poster or something similar, and write the specific and strict rules on it, then put it beside the chat area, so that the players can check it anytime and knowing what can be said or what cannot be said. I understand this is hard to do, but if you don’t, I see some players speaking sensitive words in the chat channel. Another method is programming the system to let the machine automatically detect these sensitive and bad words. Once a player posted these words, the machine immediately replaces them with "XX".

I know this game has many moderators, game operators and administrators, but there is no guarantee that at least one mod supervise at any time. Recently, I saw some players mentioned "Hitler" (sorry I said here) in the chat. I know the game is under strict German laws, so mentioning "Nazi" (sorry again) words is a violation of the rules. Although I am not a moderator yet, I have to pretend to be a deputy moderator (because there are no MODs or GOs online at that time) to warn them. I know this is wrong and I should not do it another time because I already get warning from LightingTurk once, I apologize here. Hope you guys can understand me. Thank you.

(Btw, actually I'm not good at English, so if there's anything above that you can't fully understand, my apologize. You could ask me anytime on details, I will try my best to reply to you in one hour.)

Thank you for taking time to read my message,

    Frank:P

It's ok, Even if we would have 100 relevant replies here, there is this one guy that made up his mind by doing this without first thinking it through. His only concern is do everthing as it is in CoW. he doesn't give a (well you know) about supremacy1914 and certainly not for it's community.

    his will is law xD

But I do want to thank everybody for their reaction.

Actually, I know who you are talking about. I was kidding.

If the spies do some damage to your building, the newspaper would say something like "do not rule out spy destruction".

That's really wired about recruiting office disappeared. I never see anything like that, but I don't think they could use GM to make your recruiting offices invisible.

But some noobs usually do this way, they don't know about game, and they just wanna waste their GMs.

Well, pretty wired. The only situation that I met several times inside game is when I click on troops, sometimes, the troops just disappear, and after minutes, it reappear again. No idea what happened. Wired.

I have a dose of both at times.

I was just trying to point out that one player won't make or break an alliance 99% of the time and almost everyone who is interested enough in the game to post on the forums is probably pretty good at strategy. That's mostly who is attracted to the forums, strong players who want more information and like to crunch the numbers and malcontents are always the most common posters.

It's a well known fact from the game development/community management side of things that less than 10% of the players will make 90% of all the posts and less than 1% will cause 90% of the problems. I've been involved with games for a very long time. A designer, developer, coder, play/beta tester, balance analysis, security analysis, mod, admin, superuser, community manager, exploit detection, multi account detection and a problem in the forums at various times in my life ;)

    Absolutely agreed. :)

Methinks Frank is one of those guys that thinks like Groucho Marx. "Any group that wants me as a member is a group that I want to stay away from."

I guess I'm good at strategy. People say if I ever join an alliance, that alliance is going to win (not all time, but increase the possibility to win). I've seen many people said that. So the best way is to not join any of them, otherwise the unbalanced power or smart minds would appear, and maybe create a unnecessary fight between alliances.

This does happened sometimes in the game. I don't really think this is some sort of bugs or game problems.

I think it's more about internet. When I have faster internet speed, this never happens; but when my internet speed gets slow, this happens alot.

My suggestion is waiting for a little bit longer, (don't really need to load games again) then you should be able to see completed buildings or units.

    Thanks Hastings.

I agree with them saying "Legacy view is no longer being supported." Legacy mode now is really slow, I don't know why. Gladly they have not take the legacy mode out yet. Wish it could always be there. Old time memories.

Haha, I know this question would be funny and ridiculous.

What is a ralley point? I've been playing the game for years. And I still can't figure it out what actually is that? Any uses?

LOL, laugh at me if you want,

    Hello there,

Railguns have a bigger fire range. So you probably can see the enemy's artillery but not the railguns.

If you can see the enemy (artillery or railguns), you are able to see the cannon ball. If you are not able to see the enemy, then the cannon balls are also invisible to you.

I don't think this is some visual bugs. This always exist in the game. I don't know if there is any explanations on manual or not. Anyways, if you have not check the manual yet, I really recommend you to take a look: https://forum.supremacy1914.com/index.php?game-manual/

    Thanks,
