Normally it is instant, on occasion, especially with new updates I have noticed it can take longer. In the past I have contacted support when it took over two weeks and they did update at least the Goldmarks part for me.

As per the more recent updates, the Flower strategy is not effective anymore. You can still eat up the clock on things like arty by sending one unit at a time within its range to mitigate the damage to a follow on attack.
