I recently became the game admin of a small game basically Allies vs Axis, and I have absolutely no idea how to use my admin or whatever

It's just a title and includes a minimal functionality - but that's really all.

Yes, in the desktop mode you can remove inactive players (independent of the used device).

Click your profile picture on the top left side, on the overlay there's a "Game Admin"-button. As soon as you press this button you'll become the possibility to remove the inactive players.
