Buying out wins - Spending CAP

  • b78//+

Spending on one game should be capped and calcilated pro rata according to the total spending of all players combined in any given game.

True BYTRO may lose some Goldmark sales but it will balance out and is better than losing players' interest in the fairness of this.

It is impossible to win games against players with unlimited spending power. Open ended spending of Goldmarks.

The problem mostly appears at the end of the game when some players end up "undefeatable"

You cant beat a player who you destroy and go to sleep to wake up to the same player attacking you with even more bombers.

40 bombers 70 planes roaming the sky and level V forts over night.

5 biggest players in rankings get destroyed one after the other.

This is the most extreme case I have faced in game #5550482 but the list is long so long and too unfair.

  • In all honesty, while from a player's perspective it is hard to find any arguments that are not in favor of this suggestion, it's not realistic that a company would say "No, no, that's enough. Please keep the rest of your money". Gameplay is a secondary concern when it comes to sales. This is the case here and everywhere else on the current market.

Your best hope would probably be legislation that forces providers to implement spending caps to combat addiction and protect consumers, which has been suggested in the EU but so far apparently been successfully repressed.

  • This would be a good idea for an option in created games first. Ranked games later...

A creator could set a daily GM spending cap that players couldn't exceed as a fairness standard, but wouldn't interfere with Bytro's revenue generation because it would be reset each day.

Players with money to spend could still spend money. Players that use GM from watching ads would still be incentivesed to watch ads. Players that want to play for free (without spending GM) would not feel as overwhelmed.

The question is whether the creator would have options to simply turn the cap ON or whether they would also be able to set the cap's value.

It would serve as a safeguard to people with obsessive tendencies, even the playing field for less players, effect the strategy by managing how players utilized their GM under the spending cap, and extend the likelihood of players continuing to purchase GM over the span of a game.

Any spending limit, no matter the implementation, will interfere with revenue more than having no spending limit does. "More" = "Better".

I remain in favor of a "Win game round immediately" button fo 250k Goldmark in every game. Save everone some time and anger, you know.
